Origin

Very little is known about Squire Shade. Apparently a ghost, the manner of his death and ghostly resurrection are unclear, but appears to be related to an uprising in his home country, and a curse which has kept him tethered to life.

Creation

Squire Shade was created by Cary Burkett and Howard Bender. He made his first appearance in Ghosts #104.

Powers and Abilities

Squire Shade appears to be a ghost. He seems to be constantly physically invisible, and able to also turn his clothing invisible at will. He is also able to become incorporeal. He is able to fly.

Weapons and Equipment

Squire Shade owns the Nightmare Coach, a carriage which is able to travel through time and across vast distances with ease.
