There Spike finds Angel (though he doesn't know it) who appears to be in incredible pain. Spike returns back to his group of civilians to find they have been kidnapped by a group of amazon-like woman. Their leader is a woman only known as "Non" who drains the life out of the group of civilians to defeat Spike. He and Illyria are captured by Non.
