I've never been into any of the series before. I've read a few various ones here and there but nothing more. What would you say is the best one to get into? I'm tempted to start with Amazing as I've liked the few I've picked up in the past and Campbell has done covers which is a bonus. Good starting point or look somewhere else?

A good entry point is Big Time (#648).

Looked up why you suggested to start there. Is every thing previous just not as good? Seems like I'd be skipping a lot starting at that point, is the story completely different also?

I need to get back into Spider-Man myself. Batman has taken his spot as my top guy. I still love Spidey though.

You could also start with Brand New Day, but I 'd also agree that Big Time is a great jump-on point. You could start collecting stories from there on, and when you've worked yourself up until current issues, you could simply work your way backwards from Big Time. Or start with Brand New Day and go from there on.

It really depends on what you actually want for yourself.

Start with the original Ultimate Spiderman with Peter and work your way up to Miles, it'll take a while but it'll be worth it.

Amazing Spider-Man is the core Spidey book. Don't be put off from just diving straight in; you won't know everyone or everything to begin with, but picking up the back issues is half the fun :) The current storyline Spider-Island is just about to wind down. So you could start now, or next month after it's finished :)
