    Normally if something cost $15 in the us, it will cost you £15($19.36) in the uk.

    But at least the price includes vat/tax, while in the US you'd need to add on top of it.

    another example would be the Spider-Man PS4 game standard

    Amazon US $59.99

    Amazon UK £49.99($65.53)

    It's actually rare to find something cheaper in the states than here in the UK, because what really ups the price is the shipping cost, which is some cases would cost more than the actual item you're buying, add to that the possibility of paying import vat/tax of 20% of the value of the item, if it exceeds £150, give or take, I don't know the exact amount.
