Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17243 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
What is the best Spider-Man movie to date?
My favorite is either the first Raimi spiderman or the amazing spiderman 2. It’s just crazy that garfield could have been the mcu spiderman if he had not offended the sony brass. I like Holland but I would have loved to see an adult Peter. Imagine garfield spiderman n that airport scene.
Spider-Man 2 is the perfect adapatation. Dunst's MJ is the only thing that really drags it down, if I ever edited this thing I'd probably minimise her interactions with Peter until the cafe scene so she comes off more closely to how she is towards the end of the first film (suspicious of Peter's true identity)
Spider-verse no contest
Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 is STILL to this day the unmatched Spider-Man film. Unless Raimi and Tobey Maguire someday reunite for more Spider-Man films in that universe I don't see a single film featuring this character surpassing. Into the Spider-Verse was great though I'm not gonna lie.
Why would you have a relationship with a movie?
If the relationship is with such an accurate representation of the source material as well as a perfectly crafted film like Spider-Man 2, why not....?
Fair question. I think it's between SM2, Spider Verse, and Far From Home. While FFH was probably the most "fun" of the 3, I don't think it quite had the heart of the other 2 (though the motif of operating post Tony's death was handled well). I'm narrowly leaning SM2 over Spider Verse.
Probably still the first Raimi McGuire movie. Tom Holland is a great Peter Parker and Spider-man but these two "MCU" movies have been way off the right tone for Spider-man for me. No idea why they took him to Europe for the last one. I wouldn't take him out of New York. And please stop having everyone know who he is. Doing what he does alone is part of his character.

Far From Home was is competition for Spider-man 2?
I think Spider-man 2 is the greatest Marvel movie, but I didn't like Spider-man Homecoming.
Should I still check it out?
So far, I'd rank them:
1. Spider-man 2
2. Spider-man
3. The Amazing Spider-man 2
