How does Spiderman climb walls if he is wearing gloves and boots, that would seem to impede his ability to climb seeing that it is bare hands and feet that stick to surfaces?

The whole hairs on his finger tips thing was made up for the movie. Spider-Man can cause an attraction between molecules. The power is focused around his feet and hands but can be done with any part of his body. In the marvel official hand book it was described as "Spider-Man is able to enhance the flux of inter-atomic attractive forces on surfaces he touches"
