DON'T YOU DARE ENTERTAIN THE IDEA THAT SHE'S SOMEHOW BEEN KILLED OR IS LOST TO PETER! My soul couldn't take it at this point.

If Spencer and Ottley are going through the trouble of showcasing these flashbacks, then there must be a good in-story reason for it.

Someone managed to meet up with Ryan Ottley at a con this week and asked the most important question

Will there be more pages with Mary Jane in His run of Amazing Spider-Man?

    The Answer:

There ARE more pages with Mary Jane in ASM

He couldn't say anything regarding the C2E2 preview, on whether or not it was a flashback

Next most important question, will Mary Jane be restored to her status as an important supporting character to Spider-Man and be relevant to his stories?

There can be more pages of her in ASM but that can mean a hell of a lot of things. It can mean she's present but uninvolved as well.

That was me. I went to see Ottley at Comicpalooza and all he could say was that there were more pages of MJ in the issue. He didn't say how many, but he was very approachable and nice. But as to what capacity MJ was important he couldn't say without doing spoilers.

The great big hope is that Marvel finally changes their mind and allows the official death of OMD. Spencer loves to tackle controversy. Nothing more controversial than OMD. Even if that scenario is unlikely (never impossible), at the very minimum we should get them back together as a couple. Though I did saw a tweet from Spencer who said he wanted to do a lot with Black Cat and said the original pitch for Superior Foes was actually a Black Cat book. We could see Spidey and Black Cat rekindle as well. I wouldn't exactly be opposed to this as the only love interests good enough for Spidey are MJ and Felicia, but above all, I want Peter and MJ back together.

That means there's probably more flashbacks in the issue to "happier times" (or both that and "sad times"), that or MJ appears but there's a heart-breaking catch, as other solicitations for the next few issues says Peter's life is falling apart, so even if by some miracle he and MJ get together in 800, it won't last long. I think, assuming she isn't dead, a reconciliation with MJ could be Spencer's end game if anything...keep in mind during his Ant-Man stint he also created a rift between Scott and Cassie Lang that lasted much of the book's run.

I don't think Peter and MJ will get together at all in 800 but I imagine there will be a noticeable change in their relationship, mainly that they will interact more.

MJ won't die. She just won't. She will appear in Spencer's ASM run as stated before on interviews.

To tell the truth, I can't begin to imagine Spencer's end game or goals he wants to achieve with his ASM run. I don't believe its to pander to the fans and give them what they want, but to create a story he feels is unique or propelling his own ideals.

When did he write Ant Man?

It's a common discussion topic. He's been writing Ant-Man since 2014, starting with the Second Chance Man mini, and wrote Astonishing Ant-Man after Secret Wars up until just after Civil War II ended. It was a really good run, and it along with Superior Foes and the FCBD issue are why I have a lot of faith in Spencer going into July's relaunch.

@zariusii: @ursaber: @quilsniv: I'm Just Hoping That Nick Actually Tries To Make The Series Great By Staying True To The Characters And Mythos. I'm Also Hoping He Tries Improving Them As Well. I'm Also Hoping We Get To See More Of MJ In This. I'm Also Just Hoping The Character Doesn't Get Mistreated Because Base On The Reactions From The Characters I've Seen In The Preview Of The Relaunch, I'm Pretty Much Concerned And Hesitant On What Nick Might Do With The Series. But, I'll Wait And See What He Might Do. Hopefully He Improves As A Writer.

Bleeding Cool Bestseller List – 27th May 2018 – Everyone Loves Josh Middleton

    https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/05/27/bleeding-cool-bestseller-list-27th-may-2018-everyone-loves-josh-middleton/

This is the Top 10 Bleeding Cool Bestseller List, as compiled by a number of comic stores from their sales on Wednesday and Thursday. It measures what are known as the “Wednesday Warriors”, those who can’t wait to the weekend to get this week’s comics. We salute you, and the keenness you bring to your passion.

This weekJustice League #3 pipped theBlack Panther#1 launch, but only just. The Terrifics is the only New Age title that is performing well, and Barrier is a smash from Image.

    1. Justice League No Justice #3
    2. Black Panther #1
    3. Detective Comics #981
    4. Flash #47
    5. Invincible Iron Man #600
    6. The Terrifics #4
    7. Barrier #4
    8. Hunt for Wolverine Mystery in Madripoor #1
    9. Old Man Logan #40
    10. X-Men Gold #28

    Thanks to the following retailers,

…who had this to say… and if your store would be interested in joining the Bleeding Cool Bestseller List, do get in touch…

Black Panther #1 gave people an excellent jumping on point and the recent Blu-Ray release timed well to make it the top book this week. Justice League No Justice continues to plow on and everything else is about the same as usual. Honorable Dishonorable mention goes to Infinity Countdown Darkhawk. Y’all Darkhawk guys need to stop. J/K, but look at the prices some time on Darkhawk #1. If there’s a joke somewhere I don’t get it.

    —-

Scott Snyder’s weekly NO JUSTICE maintains its popularity, coming out as our best seller for the week. Hot on it’s toes is the *new* BLACK PANTHER #1, kicking off King T’Challa’s adventures in space. It wouldn’t be our top five without a Bat-title, and DETECTIVE COMICS keeps that torch going this week.

    —-

Elsewhere on the list we have standouts like TERRIFICS and BARRIER. A five-way tie for last place features a number of the usual suspects, as well as INVINCIBLE IRON MAN’s landmark #600th issue.

BLACK PANTHER was first out of the gate, with readers eager to see Wakandans in space. It took our top spot pretty decisively, with some help from the adorable variant cover by Tom Beland. We had a few people call specifically looking for that cover, and it definitely helped boost sales a bit. BKV and Marcos Martin’s BARRIER continues to kill it–the 4th issue was our runner-up bestseller this week. Los Bros Hernandez also made an appearance in our top 10 with LOVE & ROCKETS MAGAZINE #5, their latest entry in the beloved Love & Rockets canon.

Weak sales week. Not sure if people are out of town already for the holidays or what. Flash took the top spot. Batgirl blew out the door this week. Black Panther 1 bombed for us. Sales of the Artgerm cover for Black Panther was the only increase in sales over the previous issue. Marvel’s non-stop renumbering is not working. If Marvel didn’t have the Star Wars license to publish their comics Marvel would be dead weight for us currently.

    —-

Joshua Middleton was an amazing artist BEFORE Batgirl #23, but whatever.

    —-

7 DC titles in our Top Ten, 3 Marvels. What is most interesting is that Marvel’s big number one launch for the week, Black Panther, did NOT crack the top ten; a lot of readers see it as “more of the same” since there is no major creative change, so they passed it by. Surprise sellers of the week were Batgirl #23 (which sold because of that striking Josh Middleton cover) and Invincible Iron Man #600 (which sold because of that eventful Brian Bendis finale).

Great artwork. But I always disliked Peter's half mask while he eats pancakes. He just looks very loser like.

Nice. Really Love The Vibe Here Going On Around Peter. Very Nice, Comfortable, And Really Love The Photos He Has Up On His Wall. Also Love Some Of The Stuff He Has Like The Black Suit, The Camera, And A Few Other Things.

Which would be correct for the calculation of Frieza's death Ball to Destroy the Planet: Option A or B

    No Caption Provided
    No Caption Provided

A: In Megatons Of TNT, the calculated power needed to destroy the Earth with a Nuclear Explosion is approximately 700,000 Megatons of TNT, (1st Form Freiza's Death Ball).

The largest Man-made explosion ever recorded was (Tsar Bomb) 50 Megatons of TNT. To Destroy the MilkyWay Galaxy with a Nuclear Explosion (Ki Blast), it would take approximately a Million x (Trillion x Trillion) times 700,000 Megatons of TNT, = 7e+35 Megatons of TNT. ("Galaxy Buster", or Super Perfect CELL)

To Destroy the estimated 100 Billion Galaxies in the Observable Universe it would take 7e+46 Megatons Of TNT("Universe Buster") and twice of that to make him Multiversal. (Beerus)

    B:

Joules it takes 53 Quadrillion Megatons of force ti destroy Earth or 2.5e+32 Joules. It is derived from formula E = 3*G*M^2/5*r This formula is called Gravitational Binding Energy formula G = Gravitational Constant = 6.67408e-11 Mass = Kg = 5.972e+24 Kg for Earth Radius = Meters = 6,371,000 meters for Earth putting this number in we get 2.5e+32 Joules of Energy..

?????????? Um.....Are You In The Right Thread Here?

Here Are Some Things I Posted In Doug's Latest Video And One To Spare Ursaber The Time Reading As They're All Lowercase This Time:

Honestly Doug, I Really think you missed the entire point of this issue. The issue for Doctor Strange was suppose to be a conclusion to Donny Cates' run on the series. So, he wanted to have some fun with this conclusion making the story kinda weird and outlandish. So, you see Spidey being playful here and having some moments with Strange. And Really, the whole thing with the Spider Mini Story was suppose to be outlandish because A) The story was suppose to be from Cates' conclusion to the series B)The story was also suppose to be psychological and symbolic towards the end when the Spider tells something to Peter. Not on the knowledge on Spiders. But, supposedly his past life IE: OMD. And also, the story was written by Donny Cates. Not Chip Zdarsky. Zdarsky just handled the art which is something most don't even know about him in that aspect. Now, I don't know if he was involved in the writing aspect of that story. But, I do think Cates was mostly the one involved in it. And even after that, Spidey was more in character trying to give Strange some helpful advice and was just mostly there to support him after hearing what happened back in Vegas. So, Really. The story was just fine as was the character since the story was suppose to be weird and outlandish in its conclusion for what Cates wanted to leave off. And besides, the rest of the Spidey stuff is fine. PP:SM is still doing good from Zdarsky, Spider-Man/Deadpool has still been great, and RYV has been pretty decent in most areas. And while ASM is doing fine for its final arc, I am still pretty concern for what Nick Spencer might do in his run on the series. So, while I Really disagree with you on this issue and the character in this issue, this was a pretty well done review as the video goes on. I Really do hope that Marvel does try to fix and improve more on the character. And while they are doing so with the series I've just mentioned, they really need to do better on the rest of his series such as ASM. And I Really hope they do all that. So, anyway Doug. This was a pretty good review. Disagreed on some here. But, I Really like how you brought up some things there.

Spider Man could win if he just stuffed Frieza's mouth full of webbing filling his insides and choking to death LOL. That's about the only way unless he summons Goku or the Dragon Balls or acquire's Rick Sanchez's portal gun.

Well IMO Donny Crates should not have included Spider Man in his story and Zdarsky sure as HELL should not have drawn him. That image of a maskless Peter was a goddamn abomination man. It embarrasses me to like Spider Man when I watch that horror show. And most importantly of all, did you submit this to Doug Ernst's comment section cause putting it in here won't achieve much.

Newspaper strip update: Peter tells Robbie he saw Jameson in Florida, which confuses Robbie, as he was on the phone to Jonah and he never mentioned seeing Peter, uh oh! Peter remembers Jonah only saw him as Spider-Man and corrects himself, saying instead that MJ had seen Jonah and had told him.

Yeah, Like I Said, Cates Wanted To Have Fun With This Issue As A Sendoff. And Despite Having The Story Be Outlandish And Have Spidey Be Playful, He Was Still In Character When He Revealed His True Intentions To Doctor Strange. And No, The Main Artist For This Isue Was Frazier Irving Who I Like In This Issue But Admit That I Do Have Some Problems With This Issue. Especially The One With How He Drew, Well, "That Face". Chip Just Did The Mini Story With The Spider. Chip Is Also An Artist Afterall.

As For The Comment I Made, Well, I Already Explained It To Doug On His Twitter And Diversity & Comics On His Video. Explaining It Again Here Would Be Tiresome. Plus, I Wanted To Spare You With My Capital Sentences. So, I Just Decided To Use My Comments I Posted Here On My Cellphone.

Yeah, No. While Bryan Edward Hill Is A Top Notch Writer From What I've Heard....Yeah....No....Miles Nor The Writer Or Writers Should Not Be Defined Only By Their Race Or Ethinicities. Miles Is An Original Character Trying To Own Up To The Title And Legacy Of Spider-Man. He Also Has His Own Stuff To Deal With. Writers Like Bryan Hill Are, Well, Writers. They Should Never Be Define By Their Own Race. And Honestly, While Bryan Is Trying To Live Up To The Standard Of Miles, That Is All That He Is Doing. Making The Character And His Mythos Great And Unique. That Is All He's Doing As A Writer And For The Fans. Now, Do I Want Him In The Series As A Whole. Of Course, If Bryan Is A Very Talented Writer And Does His Annual On The Character, Then I Would Be Very Happy Seeing Him Take On The Character Full Time. But, I Really Don't Want A Writer Like Him To Be Defined By His Race But To Bring Something Unique To The Character That The Writer And Creator Brian Michael Bendis Could Not.

A While Ago, There Was Talks About Ed Brisson Trying To Handle Some Stuff Bendis Left Off From His Departure From Marvel. It Honestly Would've Been Nice To See How He Would Handle Miles And Not Take Any @#$% From People. But, I'm Glad That Bryan Is Handling Him Instead. Now, If Only He Would Handle Some Characters That Don't Match His Diversity. If He Succeeds, I'd Gladly Like To See Him Expand More As A Writer From Marvel. But, We'll Have To See Once The Annual Comes Out.

Oh Wow.....The Ending....The Trailer Kinda Looks Eh. But, I Do Really Like Jameson And Eddie Here. Eddie Looks Pretty Big And Muscular And Kinda Looks Like His TSSM Incarnation. And Jonah Looks Pretty Cool Too. The Mustache Is Kinda Scruffy And He Looks Like A Bit Of An Old Timer Like He Always Does. I Also Really Like The Voice. He's Doing A Pretty Good Job Here. And I Am Actually Surprised On The Ending And Actually Pretty Much Intrigued Here. Hope They Make Jonah's Awareness To Peter's Identity More Well Known. As Well As Harry And Flash's Knowledge If They Ever Decide To Do That. Anyway, Pretty Meh Trailer. But, Like Some Of The Stuff In It.

    I'm a cruel friend, rofl

BTW, Man of Steel spoilers are starting to leak out, so maybe someone will leak ASM 800 before Wednesday

That's Bendis' Superman charge right, or is it the arc of the Action Comics title he's going to take over?

And yes, considering how well we know you and our mutual desire for Mary Jane, we thought for sure you meant her instead of Jameson. Then again I am not all that eager to see MJ being interpreted in this poorly animated and supbar art style called Marvel's Spider Man.

@ursaber Bendis is writing bothSuperman and Action Comics once Man of Steel concludes. It's not just the one book.

Newspaper Strip Update: Robbie informs Peter of what's been going on in New York since he and MJ left...Kingpin's been bailed out (he was last seen being carted away back in 2013 when Peter teamed with Daredevil)

    Just read this on CBR:

"I heard someone on another forum say spoiler's were out, but I haven't seen them anywhere. And I've searched"

See if you can find them

Haven't found anything, the only apparent spoilers I know of are for Bendis's Man of steel
