Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
First though, Mary Jane must be fired from Stark Industries.
Hopefully in this last ASM arc, she gets brought back to the supporting cast and taken off Iron Man.
Then I remember its Slott. He may keep her on Iron Man just to diss. It would be a good move on his part to return her to ASM so he doesn't have to deal with her in Iron Man.
you know that mj thing has nothing to do with slott. it's a marvel thing. slott seems to like them together. marvel seems to want to keep spidey as the charley brown of comic book characters. he has to fail somehow so in one thing we do agree. there will be a catch.
Look, Marvel has Peter right where they want him, as a permanent manchild, and they're not gonna change that. So you, as a reader, have two choices here, drop him, or get over it? What's it gonna be?
@yassassin You don't know the context of that page, for all we know, MJ rejecting Peter here could be the start of the story that finally sees her come to accept Peter's superhero side
Secondly, you forget Marvel are quite content to allow the marriage to continue in the daily newspaper comic strip and Renew Your Vows, where MJ fully DOES embrace Peter's alter ego and lifestyle. So long as there is representation for Peter and MJ together, nobody is "getting over" anything.
