    Spider-Man

    Character » Spider-Man appears in 17243 issues.

Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.

Most favorite design of Spider-Man in the Comics, by that I mean how Spidey looks in an artists art style.

My favorites design's would easily be that of Todd McFarlane, Mark Bagley, John Romita Jr., Erik Larsen, Gabriele Dell'Otto, J. Scott Campbell and last, but certainly not least John Romita Sr. Each of them have drawn Spider-Man in their own unique way, presenting different ways Spidey could look like, the reason why I love Todd's, Erik's, Jeffery's and Gabriele's is because they draw Spidey to look imposing, intimidating and absolutely badass, I especially like how muscular they make him look like (no homo), because I was never that big of a fan off Spidey being drawn very skinny and scrawny, especially if it's Adult Peter. And I also really like Mark's, John Jr.'s and John Sr.'s art style and it's mostly because I just love looking at their art of Spidey, it just looks so good, cool and brilliant, personally out of the three I really liked John Jr.'s in the early 2000's, I don't know why but his approach to how Spidey looked, just always amazed & fascinated me.

What about all of you, what's your favorite design of Spider-Man in that artists art style?

I’m digging Ryan Ottley’s current work
