@X35: Alex Ross designed it for the 1st Spider-man movie but it got rejected for Rami's version his concept sketches and sculptures where released after. I thought they where pretty badass!:
@Superguy0009e: Haha, I remember reading the Captain Universe story in a recent omnibus... I would love to have seen how the internet would've reacted to that development back then.
@Strider92 Personally though its simple. (And I have ALWAYS thought personnaly that the original was crap) The black and the red is the best. (I mean I understand why its red and blue , because the spider was. But how many spiders are red and blue ? So why would his first thought be I KNOW RED AND BLUE WOULD BE A COSTUME! )
@Batmanikk: I don't think the spider was red and blue in the comics only in the movie. I believe this frame from the movie explains the reason behind Spider-mans color scheme Stan Lee is American remember:
As evidenced by the various awesome costume pics, it's fact that Pete gets the long end of the costume love stick. Still nothing hypes me up more then seeing the red and blue with the armpit webbing. Black and white is a very close second.
