I wouldn't say this was a great arc; the previous one, grim hunt, wast vastly superior in pretty much every way. That said, I did enjoy the first the parts. Unfortuntately, the conclusion really fails to deliver. There is way too much time spent focusing on Dr. Strange, Reed, and Tony, with little time actually focusing on Peter and MJ. It also seemed a bit cliche; I was looking for a lot more out of this. Sigh.... maybe the next arc will be better?
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17243 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
Any else dissapointed by OMIT conclusion?
MJ's characterisation was awful. That last issue was the worst Spidey comic I've read in a long time.

How did it end ?
Please tell me !!!!!!
The whole debacle is kind of cringe worthy, but they did what they felt they needed to do. Grim Hunt was pretty damn good except for the questionable things they had The Lizard do.
I'm reading the Marvel Adventures timeline now, that's more of a fun light hearted Spidey adventure that I'm looking for.

anybody tell me how OMIT ended ?
plz
I haven't had a chance to read the last issue, but I've been pretty disappointed with OMIT start to (near)finish. Everything from the art to the story just hasn't made me care at all. Thankfully, Origin of the Species is now starting.
" Was just as bad as OMD..well not that bad, but still pretty bad. "Was anything as bad as OMD lol?
.....Ok, fine, Siege.

I only manage to read the very first issues and i think it was good.
What happened in the end?

IMO the next arc will be indeed better.
It will have to do with Norman's child IIRC!

I think this quote from Marts review says it best for me.
" Would MJ truly abandon her life with Peter rather than stay and fight? I don't believe that for a minute. The strength of her love for Peter is what got the deal with Mephisto inked in the first place."
They day of the chosen one who will write all of Queseda's wrongs and bring them back together again cannot come soon enough.
" I think this quote from Marts review says it best for me.Yeh, Quesada's hatred for MJ was so blatant in this issue, it nearly made me convulse.

Am i missing something ...or after reading this did they not bring up anything with mephisto and the deals between them?
" @Deathshroud said:" Am i missing something ...or after reading this did they not bring up anything with mephisto and the deals between them? "It's in the first issue. You find out MJ's deal, and who do you think that little red bird is? "
Ill have to go back and read it again , because for whatever reason I forgot .
Once more I'm going to be in the comic fan minority but I actually liked the ending to OMIT. I poked a couple tears I'll definitely admit, and like it was said its great especially when you consider it in the bigger picture story.
And it doesn't mean that they will be apart forever, like Mephisto said, they have true love. So at some point they probably will get back together, just not quite yet.
I went back and read all the books together and it was a lot better the second time around and I ended up really liking the ending .
I read it, but I still don't fully understand what exactly happened...
Did they basically just rewrite the whole OMD story so that Mephisto had nothing to do with it? Or did he still play a part in it?
