Spider-Man and Friends was a pre-schooler title published in Britain by Panini, tying in with the toy line of the same name. It was released every four weeks, and each issue came with a free gift sellotaped to the cover, with activities, games and a brand new, UK-written and drawn comic strip inside the comic, featuring the adventures of a Mangaesque Spider-Man and his school friends, including his cousin Spider-Girl, Captain America, Hulk, Doc Ock and Lizard. The first issue was released in October 2006, but in 2011 Marvel decided to stop all non-US titles from publishing new material. As a result, Spider-Man and Friends was cancelled after 66 issues, the final one dated October 2011; that same month Panini began a replacement title, Marvel Super Hero Squad Magazine, tying in with the cartoon of that name, and reprinting the US Marvel Super Hero Squad comic.
There was a single Spider-Man and Friends Annual published in 2008.
