With NEW Powers Comes Great Responsbility

    Cover

In issue 1 of Superboy the cover looked very similar to this cover for this issue but for the first cover it was just Superboy on the cover. On this cover we see all the friends that Superboy had made in Smallville and I thought that was pretty cool. I also really liked the art for this cover and I wish the art looked like this inside the issue.

    Story

Superboy and his friends defeats Tannark. Also Superboy is happy to be in Smallville and make some pretty incredible friends.

    Best Part

This series has made Superboy grow so much. When Superboy started out in Smallville he never felt like he belonged but in this issue it is evident that Smallville is somewhere that Superboy does belong. I like to see that he had made friends with Lori, Psilad, and Valentine. This issue was much better than the previous issues in this story arc and I am glad to see that since this will be the last issue we will be seeing this version of Superboy.

    Worst Part

I wish in the end Superboy and his friends would of defeated Tannark because it would have been a better ending for the last issue. I wish in this issue Lori had psi powers because in one issues psilad said it was possible that Lori could have had powers but it never followed through when I thought we would see it in this issue. Also Lori was very angry with Superboy before this issue and now she is nice to Superboy I wish they could of talked it out more.

    Art

I have never liked the art for this series. I always never liked how Superboy looked for his series and I could find a lot of better art for his character than other series than his own. So, the art work is always a downer for me for this series.

      Hey, Look! It's a latina Spider-person! 0

Spider-girl, and the fact that she's not even a new character, makes the whole Miles Morales thing seem even more ridiculous.  People getting their panties in a bunch over a latino Spider-Man and he's not even in the 616 universe.  And, as my brother says in another review about this issue, Anya is just Peter Parker sans penis.  It's funny because she's not written by Dan Slott, but she does come across as Peter in another guise.  Which is really the only thing I found disappointing about this i...

Nitpicks right off the bat:Cover: Lazy. Cloak and Dagger had a lame cover too, but at least it was all shiny and rendered. I will concede that Zircher and Troy remarkably gave Anya a non-sexualized, strong action pose. Good on you for that, but try a little harder next month, guys. Unfortunately, she also seems to have lost a shade or two of her complexion. I'll pretend it was accidental whitewashing.Spelling: This is just me complaining as a Latino. Araña has an 'ñ'. Corazón is spelled with an ...
