In Spider-Verse Team-Up#3, as predicted,they more or less retcon this Mayday as an alternative double by her dialogue where she refers to Benjy as "Benny", and hopes there are versions of her that are waking up to wheatcakes with her family all safe and sound. Tom leaves it ambiguous enough for the casual fan not to notice and thus not trample on Slott's story, but any long-term fan can tell this isn't her

So yeah, panic over.

I think he left a door open, just in case Slott doesn't fix all the mess he's doing.

But anyways, I really like DeFalco. He's a good writer and really nice to the fans, this just proves it even more.
It's sad when I see how he acts with the fans and then compare to slott raging and trolling fans... sigh
