    One of the best remembered stories of Spider-Man is "The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man" written by Roger Stern.This story by Paul Jenkins explores a similar theme, about a young mute man confined to a wheelchair who witnesses a battle between Spider-Man and Morbius.We're privy to his internal monologue, and aside from a few trademarked quips, Spider-Man remains an elusive, absent figure in the story until the end. Some might find it too solemn or melodramatic, but I thought it was deeply touching....
