Lauren Shelbourne, a young woman, has an extraordinary gift: to get in touch with the dead, talk to them, listen to what they say. Having become an inconvenient witness in this way, she's on the run, hunted down by a handful of assassins in charge of closing her mouth forever and by a bounty hunter with a mysterious past. It will be up to Zagor to help her, facing the bandits at Vulture Peak, a remote village beaten by the blizzard and populated by disquieting presences.
