An unusually dapper Spawn, dressed in trench coat, fedora and wingtips, sits in a diner presided over by Kerry, a waitress here for most of her life. None of the customers speak to Kerry, but she doesn’t mind. One day, the nattily-dressed Spawn reveals the truth to her about her existence for the past twenty years, and she and Spawn take on the roles of each other’s conscience.
