A highly trained assassin, murdered by his employer and former friend Chapel. Albert ''Al'' Francis Simmons sold his soul to Malebolgia, one of the many rulers of the Hell, in order to see his wife Wanda Blake again. Malebolgia had other things in mind for Al and sent him back to earth with no memory as a Hellspawn, one of his soldiers, to do his bidding. After realizing what he had lost, Al swore revenge, and became the vigilante known as Spawn.
I recently purchased the comic pictured above, but I'm a little confused on if this is the 1st printing or the 2nd printing of this comic. I've seen both the covers for the 1st and 2nd printing, and neither of them match this completely. Both printings have aspects in common with this one. There are not any other reprints that I'm aware of, aside from the headless covers. Anyone care to enlighten me on which printing this is?
The first one is one of the headless cover editions I mentioned above. I've seen the other image somewhere but I didn't know it was a variant cover for Spawn 185.

That link, in no way, pertains to answering the question that I asked. It's just the art that is on both the first printing and the printing I bought. If I'm missing something, explain please.
