Nicholas Winters was part of a government experiment headed by Albert Einstein in the 1930's. The experiment gave him the strength and speed of ten men. Nicholas also has the ability to make energy machetes. Taking the name Soldier American, he aided the war effort during World War II. After the Green Event, he joined The End League. During a mission to raid a food facility, Nicholas was possessed by the villain Scarecrow Sinister and forced to kill his longtime sidekick, The Devil Boy.
