Ok let me try to make this more simple. Sodam is a Daxamite like Mon-El and Andromeda and both of them have normal eyes like raguler human's? But Sodam's eyes are green with black cornea?

Could be the effect of being Ion's host, all the willpower and all.

Doubt it. He's shown with those eyes when he's a kid too.

@kid_omega_prime: it had to do with his connection to ion remember what happened to Kyle rayners face and how it turned black and before that maybe it's because he is not under a yellow sun so his eyes are more black because of his Daximite / kryptonian dna DNA and how it changes and reacts to different types of solar radiation we know red makes them normal yellow makes them superman maybe green lantern light alters there eyes and such also most green lanterns eyes turn green.
