When the Lilliputians migrated from the Homelands to the Mundane world, they soon saw the need to build for themselves a place far away from the Fable "giants" that surrounded them. Out on the Farm, they constructed Smalltown: a village in the woods, surrounding and spiraling up the trunk of a tree. Their area is surrounded by a low stone wall with a sign on it warning for giants to stay away--an effort to protect them from being smashed under foot. The Mouse Police patrol the borders to ensure that no one enters their sacred domain.
