Sludge's body is dumped in the water by a crazed mob, affected by the events on the Moon. In this issue the character Young Pistol and The Pump are introduced.
Young Pistol had seen Sludge and told The Pump he had found an "interesting guy", that The Pump could use to his advantage.
Sludge regains consciousness underwater as his healing ability had kicked in. He is attacked by fish monsters.
The monsters were working for The Pump. By now all Sludge wants is to die, The Pump promises him this, if Sludge works for him.
Marcello has almost declared war on The Pump by sending a tank.
