Born in fire. Raised by monsters. Destined to destroy. On an alien planet shattered by war, no one is stronger than Skaar, the savage Son of Hulk. But as a Fillian warlord, an Imperial princess, and a mysterious Earthman spread chaos through the wastelands, will Skaar save the puny survivors -- or smash them? Another epic fever dream from Greg Pak, writer of "Planet Hulk" and World War Hulk" -- featuring the return of legendary Hulk artist Ron Garney!

Hulk was unaware he left behind his newly born son, believing him dead like the rest of his people leaves Sakaar and heads towards Earth for vengenge for the atrocities committed against him. But the child is truly the son of hulk. Though Skaar was just hours born when he was lost to the fighting he was able to stand and fight. For a month he roamed the planet facing and besting any beast that crossed his path. When, suddenly, a group of women and children fleeing the Barbarians seeking to kill the newborn and children are attacked by the insects. Skaar helps the children but ultimitly can save none of them.

Time passes and Skaar is now traveling with a group of the now nomatic tribe. He is called their ssavior the surviving son of their once fierce queen. But peace does not last, especially on Sakaar. The barbarians, led by the Axeman find the tribe and with their beasts terrible flames make quick work of Skaar. The remanding survivers are brought to camp for the celebration of his death as livestock. As the barbarians prepair their boiling pots for the slaves Skaar reamerges. Killing the guards and standing toe to toe with the Axeman.
