    Denise and Stewart have traveled to Wales to talk with a woman who has had a similar abduction of her child. They go together to the home of Flora Hughes, but she says it was an angel who took her son from her. She claimed it was the coming of the end of the world. 
     
    The experience leads Stewart to not believe the woman. He also starts to think that Denise is crazy as well. He thanks Denise for her help and gives her tickets home. Denise takes a handful of sleeping pills in the hopes Ellie will contact her again. 
     
    Aboard the Great Ark, Gabe grows restless and will not sleep. It is because of what the Surfer did to him. For know, he will be separated from the rest of the children to face the fact of Earth's destruction. Amnel decides he needs a companion and they choose Ellie.
     
    Ellie and Gabe are playing with the animals aboard the Ark when they both make the realization that they are being held on a ship, never to see their parents again. Ellie contacts her mother as she had wished, but it's too late, Stewart is no longer interested in her help.
