    Issue 1 left me feeling pretty shaky on how this series might be. As someone who enjoys the 80-90's Silver Surfer comics, especially the "Parable" series by Stan Lee, I have to admit my fears were confirmed in this issue. This isn't the Silver Surfer loyal fans are used to. It's almost if Dan Slott has never read a Surfer comic in his life, and the comedy that is attempted in his writing is too weak to be enjoyable.     As a big fan of both Dan Slott and the Allreds work, this is certainly a great series to be following, truly capturing a universe well beyond our understanding. And perhaps that's the biggest issue I have with it all. There feels to be a certain lack of logic to it all. Things kind of happen and is explained with the idea that we're in space and things happen. Sure, there's reasoning and such behind it, but it's like reasoning that a dog tried to breath underwater because it wanted to be like a...
