    Origin

    Mike Russo , ex NASA employer who spent his career cataloguing moon rocks. During his analysis of moon debris he found a vest of Kree manufacture, who was hidden on the Moon and then forgot there. Once found what powers were connected to this alien vest, he decided to begin the new occupation of hired assassin, by the name Sidestep.

    Creation

    Created by Scott Lobdell, Steve Lightle and Jimmy Palmiotti in 1992 for Excalibur: XX Crossing.

    Powers and Abilities

    The vest that Sidestep wears has the power to shunt objects and people into an out-of-space "stasis" until the wearer decides to bring it back at any point in space and time.

    Along the stasis, the vest has also the power (eventually) of temporarily rearrange the minds of the captured subjects.
