    Setsuna is the daughter of Kansai Magic Association's leader was friends with Konoka Konoe When they where younger but couldn't protect her when she fell into a river she stopped talking to her and decided to train so she could protect her and didn't talker to her again in till a school trip when Konoka got attacked by monkeys during the Kyoto trip.

    Latter In the series she reviles she is a winged hanyou. (The daughter of a human and a crow demon) She was exiled from her tribe due to Her wings being white instead of black.

    Pactio

    In the manga's Setsuna made two Pactio's the first one was with Negi which gave her an extra sword that can multiply and attack in swarms.

    The second Pactio she made was with Konoka later in the series. This gave her cat ears and a three pieced sword that are connected by a glowing orb that she can make grow.

    In the anime Negima!? she had another pactio that resulted in a saku card instead of the regular pactio's. It turned her into a small chicken.
