    Though he made his fortune in import/export business in the United States, Set Bao Tan maintained his patriarchal Old World San Francisco Mansion like a Beijing Palace. His daughter Joanna Tan, rebelling against his rigid control, became very interested in one of his antique prizes: antique handclaws from M. Once she put them on, she became the next wearer of the Shinga's Talons.
