He looked so much cooler when his hair was short and spiky.

Appose to his "I just got kicked out of a rock band from the early 90's" look.

I agree. I'm no fan of The Sentry, but I think it's his silly long hair that bothers me the most.

but i am sorta confused WHY is sentry so powerful? why does he transform into the void, the angel of death?

He drank a super amazing version of a super soldier formula that gave him the power of ten billion exploding suns.(though he's never in a good enough state of mind to really utilize all his power) But it also caused him to created a second personality that's the opposite of him The Void, and I guess because of all his power the Void is actually able to manifest a physical form some times.

@teerack: yeah but a read other comics saying that he is actually an avatar for another abstract being from antoher universe and thats why he is so powerful that not even gods or cosmic being can touch him

I'd like Sentry to return but they should leave him for at least another five years.

I liked the Sentry but the kinda dropped the ball on his mythology several times. I liked how they kept having different explanations for his powers (vial of super powered super soldier serum, his molecules were out of sync with the rest of the universe, he could control his molecules like Molecule Man, he was the biblical angel of death) and I always wondered why Hammerhead said he was the only person to defeat him. Plus I liked finding out Robert Reynolds was a worthless piece of crap and that the Sentry was just a mental disability caused by Robert drinking the serum. There was so much more they could have done with the Sentry.

That is true.

May be the wrong thread to say this, but as for Marvel Powerhouses go, I wish theyd do more with Blue Marvel. In fact, that may be the only Marvel ongoing id start picking up again, as he covers a lot of Marvel's weak points.

Is that banshee? I dont know who the one on the left is. I'm guessing Sentry will be death. I like sentry one of my favorites. That being said more continuity for him would be nice. Also as some one asked about what he is the angel of death thing is more of a way for the characters them self to understand him. It was never stated as fact. Maybe with the void fragment in cyclopes if its still there and sentry coming back as a horsemen it will be a way to desperate the two of them. If not just get better writers

He is returning as a horseman of Apocalypse along with Daken,Banshee and Grim Reaper.And he will appear in Uncanny Avengers.

I love how darkens comeing back :) Sentry if done right after his comeback could be a great character
