Endgame!
Mantis grovels before Darkseid as the Black Racer approaches. Darkseid waves off the god of death, promising to provide him with more victims if he spares Mantis now. The Apokoliptians battle the Secret Society of Super-Villains, but once the tide turns in the Society's favor Darkseid escapes in a boom tube. Manhunter sacrifices his life attempting to defeat the god of evil.
Captain Comet climbs out of the rubble left behind after the explosion caused by Manhunter. There's no sign of his teammates but he does find Green Lantern buried under debris. After assuring Green Lantern he doesn't intend to attack him again, he escorts the injured hero to the Justice League satellite.
Captain Comet meets the rest of the Justice League and offers to work with them to take down the remaining members of the Society. The League is alerted to Sinestro causing an earthquake in San Francisco attempting to destroy the Sinister Citadel. Hawkman and Captain Comet battle the villain, bringing him into League custody.
