    The Hunters, become the hunted

    The Story:
As a way to test his new equipement and weapons, Nero runs a secret organization that has people using these weapons to hunt down criminals on a secluded island. Feeling the need to to take increase the challenge, Nero would trick the Secret Six to become the prey of a new hunt and would later realize that his plans would backfire when capturing the group of criminals.

    The Good:
    - For a short storyline, it was pretty good, but not the best of what concept it was trying to be. Man-hunting-man concepts are quite tricky to pull off these days with media related entertainment and I felt that the storyline I seen here was pretty good for itself, but kinda recycled as a man like me have seen countless stories in other books, comics, and movies of man stuck on island and being hunted by man.
    - The character relation in this storyline was very unique and solid, how the hunters called each other by using the names of former presidents. But the best was the Secret Six when they finally go against these wannabe's, that was awesome.
    - Love the how the characters presented themselves, and I love how Bane reacted when he realized what just happened. This issue is one point towards me being convinced that Bane is an ultimate badass within the DC universe.
    - Bloody and gruesome, Secret Six actually doesn't hold back when teaching these goons a lesson.

    The Bad:
    - For a man-hunting-man theme, I felt it wasn't interesting because of how the hunters think they were awesome and dangerous when all they use is weapons, power suits, and remote control helicopter-like vehicles to hunt down their prey. I kinda found it corny and uninteresting. Even the villian from The Most Dangerous Game would never use methods like that, but this annoyance actually recovers from itself when the Secret Six shows them how its really done when you want to have a challenging hunt.

    - Probably the biggest and most dumbest mistake is when this group of over-rich hunters managed to capture the Secret Six, they decided to give a man like Deadshot a single round. One thing that I dislike in comics is how predictable a storyline can become, and its a dragging downfall for comics when there lacks to be suprises or emotional moments that would have readers re-reading the comic again.

    tHe uGly:
    - The artwork was horrible, I strongle felt like the faces were trying to shrink themselves in this issue and they just didn't seem right, like the characters had huge long heads. The anotomy of this issue was way off for what it was trying to be in many parts of this issue and it was a disruption of the flow for me when trying to read this comic.

    The Conclusion:

Not one of the best and not a highlight comic for me, but you may find yourself interested in this one comic storyline issue interesting. Bane was the highlight for me with this issue, but as for the rest, it wasn't enough for me to pick this issue up. If your a huge fan of Secret Six and Bane, then I would suggest picking this issue up, but if your not, then I would strongly suggest avoiding this issue

      Review: Secret Six #1 0

The Secret Six are tricked into taking a job on a deserted island where they become the prey of a bunch of high-tech, super-rich thrillseekers who want to hunt some supervillains.  The Good This fill-in was, quite simply, Grade A bad ass. Ostrander keeps everything lean and mean, setting things up quickly so we can enjoy the Secret Six giving these rich scumbags what's coming to them for the rest of the issue. There's just so many great moments. Bane ripping his collar off right away, Deadshot ...

      Predators hits the mark 0

Gail Simone has really hit a grand slam with this Secret Six series and its not showing any signs of slowing down.  This one-shot issue is appropriately title Predators and takes place before Secret Six #19. Scandal Savage is still part of the team and Blackest Night has yet to transpire. The team is flown out to a private island where they believe they  will be meeting a client who will be offering them a new mission. However, the Six are incapacitated and dropped individually into different pa...
