Steve Rogers decide's to be awesome.

This issue starts off with Sharon Carter complaining that she lost the trace of the Shadow Council and gets a signal from Ant-Man.We discover that Thorndrake as decided to send suicide bombers that are attached with nuclear devices on them and Eric is the only one that can stop them.Back on Mars Steve puts Worldmind on his head and gets the Nova Corps powers without a problem because Steve Rogers is just that awesome. It caused some problems on Nova. The battle between them is epic as you would imagine.Back on Earth Ant-Man goes into the portal and stops the bombers with his Wasp Sting that they added to his suit, while on Mars the rest of the Secret Avengers are fighting some weird tentacle monsters and more Shadow Council goons, also the Steve and Nova battle rages on.After Ant-Man shot the bombers it caused a nuclear explosion in the Vanishing Point (wich is the portal they used to travel to Mars in a second). Then Steve takes the Thorn Crown off of Nova's head and gives it back to Archon. Then Ant-MAn comes back and nobody belives him that he saved the day. Then we see the team heading home but it seems that Nova wont be joining them in any missions in the near future. And it seems when they will return to Earth they will have to begin facong Nick Fury.

This issue was really great,in ended this arc very well and still left some mistery for the next one. Some complaits i have are mostly nit picks, first off at the end of issue 3 we saw that Archon was seemingly dying but in this one he was up kicking, also the price for the first arc, usually the first issue is 3.99 wich i find is okay and unless the other issue have some sort of co-feature and they don't take pages away from the main story im fine with paying extra but unless i am paying for something extra i don't think it's necessary to pay more. But this was still a great issue and i have to say out of all the new Heroic Age titles this has to be my favorite.

I think I've discovered what my problem with this series is. It's not fun. Is it good? Yes. Is the art top-notch? Yes. Is the story cool and does it have mega-geek moments?  Yes. Is it fun? Well... not really. It's just that Brubaker isn't a goofy-jokey kind of writer. That doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not my normal cup of tea. Now, having said that, it's still a consistently good book and it's got some great writing and art so let's get to it.   The issue opens with Sharon Carter trying to...

Back with the Avengers, they realize that there is no other choice but for Steve to put on Nova's helmet. Steve shows his courage and takes on the nova force.
