I don't know what this is
The series at this moment is taking an approach of only one shots. This has worked pretty well up until this point, but as I have mentioned before with one shots, it requires that the individual contains a tightly told and easily understandable story. So maybe telling a time travel tale in a one shot was a bit too ambitious for this creative team. The concept behind it is good enough, and in reality I think it would have been a really good story told over two issues instead of one as here everything is too compact, and maybe just a little too hard to follow as Black Widow bounces around through time trying to avoid their eventual deaths. Some parts were even pretty engaging, like the discussion with Beast how time works, but in the end it all compacted together too much.
