Scrum

After The Overseer mistook communication from Earth as a sign of invasion, he sent cosmic rays that accidentally created the Fantastic Four. Seeing the Fantastic Four as an escalated threat, he used the cosmic ray on volunteers from his own people to become a team of defenders called The Unparalleled. Krum was one of the first volunteers to be given a monstrous appearance, one of eventually many. It was renamed Scrum by Overseer and banished to the bowels of the city, eventually joined by any volunteer that was also made ugly by the cosmic rays.

When the Fantastic Four finally made it to the planet, the Overseer welcomed all but The Thing. Offended by The Thing's appearance, Overseer banished him as well. After defeating Scrum and his Monster Mob, he rallied them into escaping and fighting back against the Overseer. Unfortunately, Scrum's belief in the Overseer's caste system ran too deep. He turned on Ben, when he destroyed the sacred tower.
