@theTimeStreamer: Great way to ensure that writers and creators would want to continue with something like this. Let's try and keep questions useful and if you want to ask about something he's done that you may not like (he's gotten plenty about Starfire), then do so in a constructive way.

Scott Lobdell Wants Your Questions
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Will We find out more about the "non" Teen Titans teams that Dick, Roy Kory, Vic, Garth, Beast Boy and Lilith? As a follow up will we find out who Dustin is/was?
Mr. Lobdell, I have been thoroughly enjoying your runs on both Red Hood and the Outlaws and Teen Titans. Do you plan on making any roster changes/additions to either team during your run? If so, how much creative freedom do you have for those appointments, as opposed to editorial mandates?
Scott, great job on Teen Titans so far, and I'm a big fan of how you retooled Superboy and some of the younger Wildstorm characters.
My question concerns how you see Superman's identity for your upcoming run. John Byrne clearly saw him as Clark Kent from Smallville who just wanted to fit in and use his powers for good from time to time. To Byrne, Superman was just a "fancy pair of longjohns" while Clark and his personal life was meant to take center stage. The Silver Age Superman was much different. That version of the character saw himself as Superman and his mission for truth and justice was far more important than his personal life. It seems like Grant Morrison has taken a nod from the Silver Age by having Superman almost give up the Kent identity for fear it might have compromised his time as Superman. As Morrison put it, Superman felt he "outlived" Kent. Thankfully, he took the identity back after Batman proved Kent to be a useful hero in his own right, but it's obvious that this Superman doesn't see himself as Kent the way that Byrne's version did.
Where do you stand on this? Is he Clark Kent from Smallville looking to fit in? Or is he Superman, Earth's greatest champion whose life is too big to fit in an apartment on Clinton Street?
Dear Mr. Lobdell,
I notice too many fans mentioning Superman the man and Clark Kent the mask and vice versa: will you lay this to rest by revealing Kal-El being adopted by Jor-El? It would invalidate most comic clichés. It might even improve the economy. For freedom.
Sincerely,
sesquipedalophobe
Mr. Lobdell, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions
Now that the culling is over, what will we see in the next year for the titans, do you plan on expanding the team?

And how exactly would this solve the "clichés?"
What reason is there behind returning Raven to Teen Titans, as what appears to be the only elder Titan? (Since I consider it nearly impossible Donna or Wally will be returned to the team with Cassie and Bart there)

He's the writer, not me.
Is there any chance that we will see some of the other Wildstorm teen characters appear in Teen Titans in the next year? Have you considered using Freefall, Burnout, Rainmaker, or any of the DV8 characters in Teen Titans? Thanks again for taking our questions.
Why such a major change to Tim Drake's character and origin? One of the biggest parts of Tim's character was that he discovered Batman's secret identity and convinced Bruce to let him be Robin to save him from a dark path. Why in your reboot do you have Bruce monitoring and recruiting Tim? What was the motivation for the dramatic departure?

First of all, Scott, thanks for all of the great Teen Titans, RHATO and Superboy stories you've given us for the last year and I'm extremely excited for your run on Superman, it's gonna be great!
My question:
How do you get how so many brilliant but extremely different characters think and speak in your head when you're writing them in your great stories month after month? E.G. Roy Harper to Zaniel Templar.
*coughkissasscough*

Will Wonder Woman appear in Superman? Will you bring back MonguL??? Are there any new characters you are going to add in Superman?
AHEM:
But there's a catch.
Scott will only be answering FIVE QUESTIONS. Also, his mother will be choosing the questions, so let's keep them civil. You can only ask ONE QUESTION per post. No two-part questions.

Dang...missed that part... Very Well Will Wonder Woman appear on Superman? :)
Azzarello already said no :-p

Your work with Generation X was my absolute favorite work in comics, it's also why i picked up Red Hood. I see alot of the same chemistry, and 'far out' writing in both comics, do you think Red Hood & The Outlaws will continue in that direction or will they be more grounded in the future?
Any plans for reintroducing some classic Superman supporting characters like Dan Turpin, Bibbo Bibbowski, Emil Hamilton, etc? Cus honestly, outside of the core (Lois, Jimmy, and Perry) his supporting characters seem really disposable. Bringing back some iconic ones would help with that.
Sadly, I, along many many other fans feel like our childhood hero and role model, LOIS LANE is been treated poorly especially after the superman/wonder woman kiss publicity
Is there anything to look forward in DC COMICS, about this powerless but strong and loyal career woman in regards of her own storylines and future romance with Clark?
or can we already give up hope and start mourning the death of our epic love story "CLOIS"
My Question: I have a question about previous events considering we've been told that the original New Teen Titans events are no longer canon. How is it that previous established relationships are still canon or hinted at Starfire/Nightwing and Terra/Beast Boy for example when they have no reason to have met before?
Just as an aside... Raven is a daughter of a trans-dimensional being that invades other universes, doesn't that mean that in the whole 52-earths, there'd only be one?
Raven, THERE'S ONLY ONE! Whoa that just gave me a crazy idea. Raven's been dimension and timeline hopping, what if she knows everything that's happened in all the timelines and so forth... That's just, wow. I mean she reincarnates and all that so maybe there is only one.
She'd remember the Pre-DCnU... I can see the thought boxes already.
I miss my friends… I remember, Azar, I remember.
But they don’t. They don’t remember. Because for them… it never happened.

What was the reasoning behind retconning Beast Boy's history with the Doom Patrol/his contracting of Sakutia and turning green?
This! I'm not really sure how much of that was Lobdell's direction, but it's worth asking as I fell this needs to be addressed.
I adore Lois Lane (and yes, I love her and Clark Kent together too!). She's the female character that I really admired and identified with, when I was growing up. I've been really disappointed with the way some of the DC people have been talking about Lois since this reboot. I was wondering if you can tell us how you feel about her character and give us a few hints as to what you will be doing with her during your run? Thank you so much!
What was your biggest goal accomplished on each book your had a hand in during the last year of comics.
@Beast_in_the_Shadows: I didnt get it either at first, but it was pretty obvious all along. As I understand it, they are trying link Beast Boy's powers into 'The Red'. As a hardcore reader of Animal Man I've come to accept and enjoy the idea of the Red and think it actually makes alot of sense that Beast Boy be connected to it in some way.
Of Superman's supporting cast, Lois Lane has always stood out. She may not be a superhero with powers, but she's my hero. Please share as much as you can about her character, including what's up for her personally and professionally. Thank you.
1.) In your upcoming Superman crossover story, is the character H'el loosely based on the combination of Match and Superboy-Prime?
2.) In the upcoming BATMAN themed story "DEATH OF THE FAMILY", do you think you want to tackle Batman and/or Detective Comics in the future?
3.) Now that it's been a year, the New 52 Teen Titans roster consists of Red Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Superboy, Solsitice, Bunker, Skitter, and Danny the Street. Will we be seeing new members joining the team (and by "new" I mean either a bunch of new characters we're about to be introduced into the DCNU OR will we see familiar faces like Static, Kaldur/Aqualad, Supergirl, AND/OR Blue Beetle?
4.) So far the Teen Titans have crossed paths with Legion Lost and will be facing Red Hood & the Outlaws in "Death of the Family", will they EVER encounter the Justice League?
5.) Will N.O.W.H.E.R.E. get the Justice League's attention?
@IronAngelX:It's best to SHOW an image to get the meaning of the question, like so:
how long will you keep writing red hood ? cuz i really have no problems with how you're doing so far
I love all your books
What character Pre-52, would you like to bring back, to put your own spin on and why? (If you had no limits or restrictions)
Thank you for your work!!!
Is it difficult trying to write for Superman's power level? A lot of people complain that he's too overpowered, but you don't wanna make him too weak, either, so how do you find that balance?
