Well they both good and same so what they are Venom Eddie was the orginal Venom and Mac was better he can eat the innocent  and is a crimnal and works for OSborn and shares high loyalty but The symbiote and gargan have one thing in commen they both hate Spider-man and Osborn and wants to kill them all the only reason why Venom joined the Thunderbolts because of the goverment

Generally people prefer Eddie Brock to Gargan. I personally prefer Eddie. Gargan was interesting as the Scorpion, but as Venom he is just ripping off Brock.

I don't mind Gargan as much as most people but, he tends to get owned a lot unless its against Skrulls or no name characters.

But he's Venom so owns him back at Skurulls and others  Eddie gets own too

They aren't same at all.  Gargan acts more like a tank, relying on his durability and sheer strength.  Where-as Brock mastered the suit, using all of it's powers to their full extent.

Eddie owned Mac as Venom. No contest. Though Mac as Venom is starting to grow on me.

[I had a good idea that I had to get out my system though. What if Vin Diesel played Mac Gargan in Spider-man 4 or 5?

They are both terrible characters.

I like both of them as Venom, but i still prefer Eddie Brock over Mac Gargan.

I like Mac's run as Venom, but i hope that Eddie would one day reclaim his title as Venom/

He will as Venom and Anti-Venom with both it's just like Akuma as Shin akuma and Scorpion like Gouken if Eddie and MAc are stepbrothers meaning they both are Venom and there just like Ghost rider's John blaze and Daniel ketch
