At this year's WonderCon, we had the second Mystery Art Challenge of the year. The artists that agree to take the challenge have no prior knowledge of what they'll have to draw. The way it works is, it's always a familiar character along with a random object. The artists then have seconds to try to come up with a creative idea. Because so many love taking part in the challenge, they've started indirectly challenging each other.

For this edition, Peter Nguyen, Cheeks Galloway, Dustin Nguyen, Joel Gomez, and Todd Nauck all took the challenge. With Avengers: Age of Ultron coming to theaters real soon, we decided on Scarlet Witch as the character.

Peter Nguyen

Peter's usually the first one. He brought in another character as well.

Sean "Cheeks" Galloway

Sean was ready and willing to take the challenge.

Dustin Nguyen

Dustin is always willing. He sometimes requires a little arm twisting.

Joel Gomez

There's actually an interesting story when Joel took the challenge. We'll save that story for a later date. Don't forget.

Todd Nauck

Todd is always eager for the challenge. He just hates when the other artists scoop him and use the same ideas.

That's it for this challenge. Next up is C2E2. I haven't decided if there will be a challenge there. It'll depend on if I can line up some artists since most of our regulars won't be there. Let us know what you thought of this challenge.

I agree with everyone here so far. While the others were good, Todd's was by far the best.

Todd's & Peter's were the best the others looked meh.

I've been a fan of Dustin Nguyen for a while. Sad to see him offer such a lackadaisical piece for this. He always does such great stuff usually, but here he just scribbled. I'd love to have seen his idea properly realized.

I think Agnes Garbowska would`ve killed this too, but Todd did a great job. :-)

I think it would be really cool to see Mystery Art Challenge with an entirely different line up at C2E2, if you can line up people who are willing!

Always love to watch the artists draw so its very cool to see the process.

Wow, need to look up some of Todd's work. Also would love if you also post the videos at real speed. Little tough to follow Todd's at 8x (I realize it would be long but I'd be interested in seeing it).
