Fearing that Professor Ed wants to kidnap and reprogram Caroline, she and Savage Henry have been running all over the world through a host of dimensions. Their luck seems to have run out in Tokyo when Caroline is suddenly struck down and kidnapped by a vicious leader of a large criminal empire in Bugtown called The Hood.
Against everyone's wishes Savage Henry bursts into The Hoods' place of business and demands that he return Caroline to him. The Hood informs Henry that he plans to auction off Caroline to the highest bidder and welcomes him to bid on her when she goes up for sale. When Henry attempts to get at The Hood is attacked and easily handled by one of an army of genetically superior drones all called Gordon that The Hood employs as his muscle and Savage Henry is thrown out of the building.
