New York Comic-Con Journal: Day Two
I can't even lie, today's show completely wore me out! While it was a total blast, I am really exhausted! So much so, that I'll have to continue editing the rest of the flip-cam floor footage from today, tomorrow! As many of you guys probably know, New York is definitely my favorite city, so being able to come back to the Big Apple for Comic-Con was amazing. The last time that Comic-Con was held in New York it was nearly two years ago, so I knew that it would be much bigger this year. But seriously, the size of the Saturday show, as well as the turnout, completely surpassed my expectations! Combining both the Anime Festival with the Comic Convention is huge in itself, but I had no idea that the turnout would be as big as it was!
As usual, the cosplayers were amazing (scroll to the end of the article for some pics), especially the people that spent months on their costumes. I give those folks major props. We saw an amazing hand-made Optimus Prime costume that weighed about 100 lbs. made completely out of recycled material! And by recycled material I mean the tin cans you would find in your kitchen. Kind of awesome. We saw about twenty kids together dressed as Pokemon characters and we asked them to sing the theme song from the show, which they did. And if you are wondering, yes, we have that on film. We even witnessed Mario and Luigi get into a fight with another Mario and Luigi!

It was so awesome getting to meet so many people who love Comicvine! I felt like I was constantly being stopped by so many of you guys, and it was really great. It was wonderful to meet so many of you and to hear how much you love and appreciate what we do on the site. You guys were fantastic and seriously made my day! Let's not forget, the interviews!
I caught up with Sterling Gates at the DC booth who just recently announced he would be leaving Supergirl. After the interview he and I went down to the Ubisoft Michael Jackson Experience stage where I whipped out my dance skillz in front of a crowd of a few hundred strangers. I spoke to Dan Slott who revealed he would be taking over all the writing duties on Amazing Spider-Man, which was cool and I even got pulled onto the Marvel booth stage by Stan Lee, himself! Yes, I'm serious.
Did I also mention that we got to check out the trailer for the upcoming Thor video game and demo the Captain America game? This is only some of the amazing stuff we did today, so be sure to check back tomorrow for the Day Two of New York Comic-Con teaser flip-cam video and all of next week for all of the full footage and interviews!
Here is the recap video of Day One if you missed it.
Sorry if you didn't like it but meh, it was just my vacation LOL Maybe I'll modify it to a "Brightest Day" version of the costume
