    Jack is Back!

Samurai Jack is a series that holds a special place in my heart. Very few animated series can match it's unique story and interesting, diverse elements. Therefore, when the series ended, I was irked that we didn't get a few more seasons. I'm still hoping for a few animated films that continue Jack's quest to defeat the demonic Aku and return to the past to undo the evil the villainous entity has wrought. However, when it was announced that IDW would be releasing a comic series based on the animated series... I was thrilled!

And I wasn't disappointed either! This first issue is pretty solid. The action and story in fun & engaging, making me feel quite eager to see where all of this will lead. I won't reveal much due to spoiling some of the story, but I can say this. If you loved the animated series, or if you like solid comics in general, I highly suggest checking out Samurai Jack: Threads of Time.

It's most certain not to disappoint you.

Who knows, perhaps if the series is a success, we'll finally get some animated films... or even get the animated series back for a few more seasons!

    Check it out!

However, now with IDW Publishing and Cartoonetwork reaching an agreement to publish Samurai Jack comics, fans...

The series ran from 2001-2004 to great acclaim and it is one of the very few CN series that I remember very fondly. It was, perhaps, one of the darkest cartoons I’d ever watched, but it was told in a way that the grim and gritty really balanced o...
