    After the fall of the Pride in the last issue the Runaways are still fighting crime in the Los Angeles area. A group by the name of Excelsior forms and their objective is to hunt down the Runaways who have ran away from their foster homes. After receiving a message from the future Gertrude, the Runaways set out to find the most powerful villain who is responsible for the destruction of the Avengers in the future. His name is Victor Mancha. As the Runaways learn his origin, can they help him or is it his destiny to destroy all of humanity?

    Issues #1-6 - With the fall of the Pride, the Wrecking Crew heads out to Los Angeles to rob a bank only to have the Runaways show up and defeat them with ease. We see the formation of the group of former teenage superheroes called Excelsior which consists of Phil Urich, Turbo, Lightspeed, Darkhawk, Ricochet and Chamber, whose purpose is to show people you don't have to put on a costume to make a difference in this world.
