George Tuska was an artist for Marvel during the 1970's.
Legendary artist for DC Comics. Working since 1939, Nick Cardy has worked on some of the earliest, most notable, DC issues. Cardy served as the lead artist for DC from 1970-1975. He also served in World War II and received the Purple Heart for being injured.
