    The adopted daughter of Mystique, Rogue was once a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Now reformed, Rogue has become a veteran member of the X-Men.

    Rogue an Avenger?

    There has been news of a new member joining the Avengers. Names thrown around are Princess Powerful aka Molly Hayes, Iceman, and Rogue now Iceman seems very likely but Rogue. I don't know some Avengers are still a little raw or weary about Rogue because of her past and the hurt she put on most of the members (see Avengers Annual 10 her first appearance) but Scarlet Witch was in the same boat before with the brotherhood and she became one of the most prominent members, although with Rogue I think it was more they felt raw because Rogue went through most of their private moments and crippled their friend and member Ms. Marvel. Well I'm not holding my breath for my favorite mutant to make the scene but the only supporting evidence i have for her going is if you haven't seen by the previews

    Rogue gets demoted for her snap decision with taking Hope to the battlefield. Also Ever since she's been back she's been sidelined not to say she hasn't been giving most threats hell with her modified powers so what do you think is Rogue Avenger material or should she stay with the less then encouraging X-men?

    @DH69: I noticed it yesterday in a few new issues that i had just bought. 
     
    And as much as i really love Molly, i really don't see her becoming an avenger anytime soon, when she's older sure, but not now. So i'm gonna have to go with either Iceman or Rogue.

    @A-Strondinaire: Exactly, and i know for a fact that Nico would be against it, but i don't understand why she has been shown in a few Avenger covers though... Odd

    Dammit. With all the inactive Avengers that haven't been seen in a comic book for years Marvel just has to add another former X-Man to the Avengers' roster.  Wish that Marvel would just bring Firebird back.

    That is a good idea, but they think giving an X-Man an open spot on the team will either give them prestige or profits look at wolverine.

    But seriously if there was one Xcharacter I wouldn't mind on the Avengers its Rogue. She was always one of my more favorite Xcharacters, and I think it would be interesting to see her and Ms. Marvel interacting more. Granted Carol has pretty much forgiven Rogue for what she did, but still you get those times when Carol has flashbacks of not liking her.

    Heck I would just like to see her absorb the powers and abilities of Thor + captian America + Luke cage + spiderman + (why not one more) wolverine. That would be a crazy beast! Hell just thor and spiderman would be hilarious!

    If it was well written it could be cool, personally I think a lot of the best characters on the X-men roster could do so much better then being members of a team led by a jack**s like Scott Summers.

    @A-Strondinaire: Oh, okay. Darn, I would've really loved to see how Rogue would've fit in with the Avengers... but then again, she's probably more suited to the X-Men anyway. It's all about the status quo, isn't it? ;)
