Super Fortress!
Macross/Robotech is such an awesomely cool concept. One day I fully intend to sit down and watch it. I'm not a big anime or manga buff so I'm often intimidated by older franchises like this that have rabid fanbases and numerous iterations. This issue seems to be a retelling of the first episode? I could be wrong, but I did have a sense of déjà vu. This review, will probably infuriate long time fans, but this issue didn't do much for me. I bought it for the Artgerm cover, and was a little disappointed by the interiors. This series will probably please people familiar with the franchise, but did little for the uninitiated like me.
