Glad they didn't just get a new Robin. I might not read any batbooks but Damian is my favorite Robin.

Not sure how I feel about him having super-powers, could go to the little guys head (which is the last thing he needs). But I'm glad Damian is coming back and not a new (or old) Robin.

Once a Robin, always a Robin. And Tim hasn't been Robin, yet.

He had three living ones he could have asked, even if only temporarily.

I never really cared for the character, but I am happy for his fans. Though I am going to have to admit the death and relife cycle we keep having shoved down our throats in comics is really getting old. The ah, super power aspect is also kind of a downer.

Completely wrong,he has far more substance than most other DC characters and he is of Chinese/Arabic descent through his mothers side,there's a lot more to color than just black and white and besides we already have Batwing/Luke. Duke was just a one time,generic character/typical Robin stand in with no stand out features of his own other than his hair style.

I like this angle. Better than just going back to the status quo. A Robin with superpowers... sure why not, opens up a ton of story possibilities. I think DC is really gonna turn things around for themeselves in 2015. With the return of Damian along with how they've managed to "fix" faltering titles I.e. Batgirl and hopefully Catwoman DC may just make us forget some of thoses post new 52 flubs. Now they just gotta stop with those gimmicky 3D covers.

Because RHATO would totally focus on Damian's character...

@fil123: Yes i have, I am god and i see the future and all my opinions are facts, and i for certain know that this isn't fanboyism overcoming logical assumptions that the future may not be what i say it is. I honestly dont like the character that much and wish they went down a different road, and until my opinion-fact is disproved i will continue not liking it just cuz :p

But in a serious note, knowing Tomasi and his love for the character i sorta thought this would happen and hoped we could have had Damian's death had a longer consequence, cause you get more meaning out of it. I also wanted to see a new Robin and instead its the old one and it bums me out

You're basing your judgement just on one issue of RHATO? Give Morrison and then Tomasi's B&R series a shot, he grows a lot in both series, specially in Tomasi's. Another thing, don't expect him to be good just from the start, it takes some time.

She's not a part of Batman Inc. in New 52. Also there are many Batrelated characters in Batman Inc. that are not part of the Batfamily.

I hate the way the robin suit is drawn here. I am no fan of Damian, but I won't detract from other peoples joy. I just don't like the way the suit looks like it's made of plastic bags. Can it not be smoother or something. Does Batman not own an iron and ironing board for Alfred to use. I also can't help but notice that the (R) is facing directly forward, where as his chest is puffed out a bit. I get that you want to make a point that he's robin again, but can you at least make the R not look like it's been cropped onto there. That is the end of my venting.

What's the point in releasing solicitations that reveal spoilers? I was stupidly thinking that this storyline may not, in fact lead to Damian being resurrected, but something else. Now I don't really feel like i have to keep reading it.

Bad news, Damian's taint is back to f**k up the Bat-Books. On a more positive note, it's better than some random nobody. Even better if they'd just kept Damian dead for good.

i not sure Damien needed a super power return...to gimmicky to me...But have no problem with him coming back.

Would have liked to see Tim return to being Robin and give him some focus, he has been a mess in the new 52 to me

Definitely agree with that. I recently started reading back issues of Tomasi's Batman and Robin and he has some stellar Batman stories.

I love what Damiyan has become over the time. A great example of character growth and development. I am glad that he is returning to his role as Robin but I hope they will make his revival make at least some sense.

Glad he's back! Great character with plenty of depth and talent. His return to the pages will be awesome. I'm looking forward to it. I'll be honest though, I kind of saw this coming. While I'm not disappointed, there is a little part of me that kind of hoped that DC would introduce a totally new Robin. But then I come back to my senses...

I've been a Batman fan since I was like 3 years old, and I have to admit... I did not like the character of Damian AT ALL. I tried, got several issues and stories with him and about him, but did not like him. It's obvious that here, I'm in the minority, but I'm not happy he's back.

I'm a happy man. Damien had that edge to him I appreciated, lookin forward to him growing now.

Far as the Robin Population, wouldn't be kept low more likely if they repeated a Robin rather than killed him off?

Even DC didn't want to count Nu52 Batman Inc events as canon.

i don't know how to feel bout this. i like Damian & how he's making a comeback, it's the superpowers thing thats killin me!! no member of the immediate bat-fam has ever had powers before, its part of what made em so special. So like, why was it necessary to power him up tho?? -_-
