i was honestly hoping the aged him up a bit.
Robin
Concept » Robin appears in 1204 issues.
The patron saint of superhero sidekicks, several young people have taken on the role of Robin, Batman's partner in the battle against crime: Dick Grayson was the first, followed by Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Stephanie Brown and currently Damian Wayne. The title of Robin is an honor all on its own comparable to that of Batman.
Spoiler: New Robin Revealed in BATMAN AND ROBIN
i was honestly hoping the aged him up a bit.
I'm not, we barley have any kid heroes these days.
@noj: Meh, agree to disagree. I didn't notice any changes to his character. He had an appearance in RHATO and he was still the same person.
I had hated the little bastard since his first appearance
And now he's grown a lot on me since his death
DC proved a point here, fellas
They almost had me thinking somebody would stay dead. Shows what I know.
That's part of the fun of comics, knowing a character you love is never truly gone.
What if this is just a red herring? Can´t wait for the solicit text, maybe it will confirm whether he´ll become alive again or not.
@havoc1201: When I was reading the Futures End issue, I was thinking "would this still work if Damian was brought back?" And I realized, if Damian is resurrected, but is damaged, much like Jason Todd was when he was, and all the progress he had made in fighting his dark side was reversed and he became a straight villain, at least for a few years, this would still be able to happen. That really is where I think they are going with the story. They never said "Damian's dead" in the issue. All they said was "that mishap with Damian" or something like that.
lame and so not worth this build up. he was gone a year, its so freaking pathetic that DC cant actually do something different and new. Damian was gonna come back no matter what, but no way did i want this so soon and especially him coming back as Robin. Goodbye, character moments that involved his death and how it affected the family, goodbye any development made my Bruce, and goodbye to any diversity added to the Robin mythos by playing it safe and bringing back a character who literally died last year. im so freaking disappointed
lmao guess you read all the future issues eh
Never has a character who deserved to be killed off more than this one. With that said I knew he'd be back, this is comics after all. It is funny to see some of the same people who complain about characters being killed off just be brought back all of a sudden are ok with bringing back Damien. We'll see what these same people say when Wolverine eventually comes back...
Huge Damian fan, and I saw this coming comics are so predictable. I can't wait to see how overprotective Batman is going to be of him now.
Solicit added to original post since they've been officially released now.
The team of Batman and Robin are together again! But what is the new dynamic for this crimefighting duo now that Damian has super powers of his own?
No one can stay dead in comics. Not even when they have an emotionally sweet death that truly makes an impact on the family - but no, they had to bring him back.
Pity, thought killing the little psycho was one of the best moves the New 52 had during it, plus it kept the Robin population down.
It's still better than having a new robin. Since batman will always have a Robin.

True, all too true
I'm glad Damian was brought back quickly. If he was gone for too long i feel that whole in Bruce and his relationship would become way to similar to Jason Todd
This is cool. Maybe this means we're gonna get a Damien on-going at some point, with Carrie Kelly being his foil.
It's bound to be hilarious.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villian...or take the 3rd option and die prematurely only to be reborn with super powers. Like being able to show up in a cafe with Selina Kyle while being unrecognized by the world as the recently deceased Playboy billionaire.
So now if you look up in the sky, you'll see a bird or a plane and Damian Wayne
Pity, thought killing the little psycho was one of the best moves the New 52 had during it, plus it kept the Robin population down.
Kept the Robin Population down? you mean kept it at zero, you people are acting like Tim,Dick and Jason are running around as Robins with Damian
When Dick Grayson nearly got killed being Robin Bruce forbid him from being Robin, after Jason Todd's death it took awhile before he let Tim Drake take on the mantel. So how will he treat Damian after his resurrection? It will be interesting to explore this new dynamic especially if Damian has superpowers.

Why are people happy about this. No bat family character should have super powers.
That wasn't part of the solicit we got, people are just happy Damian is back.
@sentryman555: These are really good plot points to look forward to.!
YES!

@captainmarvel4ever: it did say that he has superpowers now.
