    In the year 2587, The Great Race was staged on the planet Okreb. Two mighty teams - Turbo Force and Motor Lords dominated the race.

    The cars were controlled by drivers in an orbitting satellite, with the races beamed across the galaxy.

    RoadBlasters (licenced from Matchbox) was a story that appeared in Eagle from issue 320 to 344 (a total of 24 episodes - there were two episodes in issue 344 to conclude the series).

    RoadBlasters was written by Barrie Tomlinson and illustrated by Carmona.

    A final story featuring the RoadBlasters ran in Eagle issues 345-353 as part of the Computer Warrior series (written by John Wagner and illustrated by Mike Dorey).
