Happy halloween to all! (well actully its the day before halloween now, but whatever...). I thought this year I would spread my good cheer for the the holiday to all of you and present my costume I'm going to wear! So, suprise, suprise, I will be...(*drumroll please*) The Riddler!
I know! *gasp* but I haven't been the riddler before, so will be fun :)
The Hat
First off i had to make the bowler hat! Surpisingly, my local costume shop only had either white bowlers or these dinky green plastic bowlers which didn't fit my head very well. I worked with what I had, so I got the white bowler.
I covered the rim so it didn't get green when I spray painted the hat. then, I played with question mark designs. I got one I liked and then I cut that design out and covered it in this lovely purple fabric. Then I glued it and let it sit! Have to say it worked out pretty well!
The question mark cane!
As much as I hate Jim Carrie's version of the Riddler (*spits*), I love the idea of the cane. So, I got some green wire and rapped it around a stick and I have my qesstion mark cane!
The Cape (?)
I know, I know, Riddler never wore a cape (unless you count those random moments....), but I think this screms riddler. I got it at one of those theme parks with a superhero themed section...this is one of the few times I can wear it, so might as well wear it!
The results!
and this is the full costume...No, I'm not going to show myself in it. I'm just camera shy. Plus I love my enimatic-ness...maybe I'll do what I did last time with my Poet costume...
oh and incase I don't tell you tommorow...
