Uncanny X-Force #31 - Final Execution

Awesome issue. So sad it's ending. Hopefully Marvel will make a sweet Remender Uncanny X-Force Omnibus.

@cyberchop979: I would definitely buy that omnibus, although I own all the single issues. I have have been absolutely in love with Uncanny X-Force. Interesting characters in the hands of a great storyteller and brilliant artists!

I hope Evan doesn't become the new Apocalypse. let the original somehow return and take over skinless (he bores me. lol)

This is my kind of issue. No one trusts each other.

I loved the issue and i hope it ends the series for a reboot, with marvel now coming and Rick leaving the title i would like to see a fresh team since this one has been pretty much decimated during his run. Maybe Cable? Domino back? Wolverine as much as he fits is kind of showing he doesn't belong on a kill squad anymore i could see most of these people being replaced due to lack of want to do the dirty work anymore esp Betsy, so yea fresh blood for a new writer to kill off!!

But can anyone tell me has this one been confirmed a reboot or just keep trucking as is?

I'll pick this issue up tomorrow. I'm hoping the series can hold up under a different writer. We've all invested a lot into this series so I'm hoping for the best

Skinless man uses his fleshy tendrils to kind of reanimate Fantomex's corpse to trick Evan into thinking it's his "Uncle Cluster."

Pretty messed up but kinda funny IMO.

I hope Evan becomes a hero. It would be nice to see him prove the brotherhood wrong.

Who were those two on the first page? Seriously, I have no clue.

Great issue, again, but one thing still annoys me: Daken. He just made my list of "How the hell is he/she back?". I don't mind resurrections, but I want to know an explanation on the how. I don't really care if it's a cliche or just simply bad, but I want to know it, because otherwise it's just a huge hole in the continuity. By the way so far the list contains (besides Daken) Star-Lord (and how the Guardians got back together), the Nova force (and possibly Rich Rider with it, since he was with Star-Lord when they supposedly died) and Thanos (see Nova above). Too bad Marvel probably won't answer these, at least not anytime soon.

Man I really feel for Evan. Kids gotta juggle puberty and potentially being the destroyer of all mankind. This was another great issue. Loved Wade's line at the end of the book.

This was a great issue. I finally felt like this series was back to it's high caliber again. Though in a weird way I'm happy it's ending. The story feels like it's finishing up.

I was mad when I got to the last page because I wanted so desperately to see what happens next. But no, we have to wait to whole weeks. This series should come out every week at the very least.

I could take or leave this artist... I just feel that a lot of the powerful dialogue that got delivered here could have been delivered more dramatically by someone else.

Wait really? Who are they replacing him with? Whoever they are, I don't trust them.

Phenomenal issue. This feels exactly like The Dark Angel Saga again with everything kicking into high gear.

I was VERY apprehensive about Frank Martin taking over colouring duties, but honestly, his work goes better with Noto's lines than Dean White's do, and that's saying something.

The story was perfect. We had wonderful characterisations of everyone, a great conversation between Sabretooth and Daken (anyone else getting a Faith/Mayor Wilkins/Buffy feel with Daken/Sabretooth/Evan?), Mystique's brief thought bubbles showing layers upon layers of deception within the Brotherhood, Remender's acknowledgement that Farouk killed Destiny, Betsy's groin kicking statement to Logan, Fantomex's corpse, and above all, that last page blew the whole issue out of the water.

Everything about this issue was perfect. Roll on #32.

I would love a Rick Remender 'omnibus' for Uncanny X-Force; especially, if I can have one for the Craig Kyle & Chris Yost X-Force run, and have them shelved next to one another.

I enjoyed this issue a lot and the art was great I laughed with fantomex scene I hope evan doesn't become apocalypse overall looking forward next issue

Can writers please take a cue from Rick and write Deadpool more seriously? C'mon man. I finish reading the deadpool story in Daniel Way series and I come here see a completely different deadpool who doesn't have voices in his head ( I still fucking hate that) and....it just the treatmeant of the characters are obviously different.
