Retro Active

A superhero team featured in the digital Dandy, comprising updated versions of several classic heroes from the DC Thomson archive, updated for the 21st Century. The line-up is Valda, from Mandy; The Amazing Mr X, a wartime character from the Dandy, and rookies called Cobra, Hornet and Kat, who are mentored by King Cobra, from Hotspur; Captain Hornet, from Hornet; and Katie the Cat, Billy the Cat's cousin and former sidekick from the Beano. The team was created by Peter Flint, Codename Warlord, from the Warlord comic. William Grange, the civilian alter ego of Billy the Cat, has appeared in the story as a police chief inspector.
